If you’ve made a good score up to now, you should play the last three holes in Fontana defensively. On this dogleg turning to the right, don’t risk a shot over the water unless you are a real long hitter. Aiming the ball to the right along the lake towards the green would be more reasonable. The risk doesn’t pay off, since the hole is not that long. Two swales await you in front of the green, catching any ball not long enough. The green is tow-tiered and the plateau on the right side is particularly difficult to hit.
